A new documentary on the effects of toxic chemicals in everyday products has been backed and is narrated by the actor Sean Penn. Showing at film festivals this Autumn, The Human Experiment has been made to raise awareness of the issue.

The film uses personal narratives of those people who feel their lives have been blighted by chemicals in products and sees the actions of campaigners including Teens Turning Green who challenge the chemical industry. They say that people should be outraged by what is going on.

The film is directed by Dana Nachman and Don Hardy Jnr. and is the third collaboration between the directors and Sean Penn. It is hoped the film will see a wider release next year.
