The green website Mother Nature Network has listed the 6 top celebrities when it comes to eco-homes and the list proves that even those who wish for the best in interior design can still achieve this while caring for the environment.

Top of the list are model Gisele Bundchen and her husband Tom Brady. The couple have bought a huge 22,000 sq ft home which they plan to outfit with solar panels, rainwater recycling and other energy efficiency measures. The recently deceased actor Larry Hagman is also listed due to his mansion which happened to sport a 77.5 kW solar array.

The journalist Lisa Ling who has what is thought to be the only carbon neutral home in Santa Monica is mentioned alongside Seinfeld star Julia Louis-Dreyfus who renovated her 1930's home with energy efficiency improvements in 2003. Darryl Hannah also makes the list due to her general commitment to environmental causes. She has recently decided to downsize to a home with passive and active solar technology and a biodiesel generator. Her home has also been renovated with recycled materials.
